The Letters- October 13 1926 from Bob to Jean

"Jean:

It's way too late- have been teaching the folks here to play bridge. But I tho't you'd be willing for to sit up just a bit longer to write to you- just a wee note.

The treasure hunt was lots of fun. I didn't find any treasure but had a wonderful time.

Your letter was wonderful, sweetheart. I do enjoy them so much- they are so much just you and full of little things you never would say that I was longing to hear.

I spent this forenoon in Des Moines without acquiring much but an unholy desire for a new three-fifty tie. I may yet yield. When I got home I found that the big boss from Des Moines visited the exchange here this morning- not so good!!!

Good-night, Jean. I love you so- tho' I bet you'll forget and have to ask "What??" when I see you again. Tease!

I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you

                                                                      Guess Who"
