This new Gothic architecture inspired collection by Guo Pei is SO brilliant and gorgeous! I love the idea of using architecture design in fashion. Seems it's not something only recently done...scroll down for some older examples!
Henry Van de Velde was an architect and artist who was not satisfied with what society in the late 19th Century told him to do. He was born in Amberes, Belgium, and his designs helped launch the trend known as Art Nouveau these days.
Besides be known for designing cottages and houses following the Art Nouveau modern trends, he also built museums, invented furniture and was one of the firsts on doing interior design... matching dresses and accessories he created to be used on those rooms.
